Pedro Béjar

Llega SIMOF, el Salón Internacional de la Moda Flamenca y en esta edición, la vigésimo primera, tengo el honor de participar de cierta manera, apoyando e ilustrando la presentación y nacimiento de un nuevo diseñador, Pedro Béjar.

Su colección bebe de lo más puro y elegante de la copla desde los años 50 hasta los 90 y así lo he querido plasmar. 

Para ello me he inspirado en el rostro elegantísimo de Natalie Portman para crear una flamenca muy de Pedro, con sutiles toques de lo que podremos ver el jueves, 5 de febrero de 2015, en la pasarela de esta nueva edición de SIMOF.

Here it comes SIMOF again, the international runway of the "Flamenco" fashion, in its 21th edition.

I´m so honored participating in it, in a certain way, supporting and illustrating Pedro Béjars´s  presentation and birth as a new designer.

His collection is based in the elegance and pureness of the ancient Spanish songs: copla, from the 50s to the 90s, so I´d wanted to express it.

The inspiration came from the elegant of Natalie Portman´s face, creating a `flamenca´ typical in Pedro´s imaginary, with subtle touches of Pedro´s collection that will be showed in SIMOF catwalk the next February 5, 2015.

La Gata De Lana

Licca Love 

El pasado verano abría sus puertas un pequeño negocio local centrado en la artesanía, lana, talleres y diseño: La gata de lana.

Las dueñas quisieron hacer un hueco para mis ilustraciones, sobre todo las inspiradas en la primera Licca, y así las puedes encontrar en láminas, bolsos, camisetas, muñecas recordables y muñecas articuladas de papel. 

Un nuevo mundo para estos pequeños seres de papel y tinta.

Os dejo algunos ejemplos. Espero que os gusten.

A new local shop focused on arts and crafts, wool, workshop, handmade and design, opened its doors the last Summer: La gate de lana.

The owners wanted my illustrations to be featured in their space, mainly the ones inspired by the first Licca, thus you can find prints, tote bags, t-shirts and cut-out and articulated paper dolls.

A new world for these paper and ink little beings.

SECOND EDITION

 

 

 

The second edition of my illustration in postcards is finally here! You will find  nine different postcards divided in three blocks of three postcards, based in different characters and styles: Blythe, Engendro and Susie Sad Eyes.

Some illustrations are well known but other are unpublished! 

 This is a thick 350gsm  paper with a glossy laminate finish one one side. The other side is lightly coated with a faint satin finish, making it easier to write your own message. 
The size is: 105mm x 148mm / 4.13" x 5.82"

Hurry up! This is a LIMITED edition of only ten packs!

¡La segunda edición de postales con mis ilustraciones está ya a la venta!Encontrarás nueve postales diferentes, divididas en tres bloques basados en diferentes personajes y/o estilos: Blythe, Engendro y Susie Sad Eyes.

Algunas ilustraciones ya son conocidas pero otras ¡son inéditas! 


Están impresas en un papel de 350gsm con un suave laminado mate. La otra cara tiene una fina capa satinada para que puedas escribir fácilmente tu mensaje. 
Miden 105 x 148 mm.

Louis Bou, aka Mista Studio is a Renaissance Man from the XXI century, a real ARTIST! He is a photographer, a designer, a performer...He can be anything you can imagine and he is even the artistic and creative director in a lot of art books as he is in THE DOLL HOUSE, published by Lemo Editorial!

In this book you can find a great compilation of artists basing their works in dolls and you can find my Enyo too!!

Enyo is a doll created by the Spanish artist Laura Garijo. I designed its appearance and Erregiro, another Spanish artist, did the make up.
