Lana del Rey or Leighton Meester?

Hace unos días asistía al debut en la pasarela flamenca "We Love Flamnco" de Sánchez Murube. Conozco a Diego desde hace años y su arte va evolucionando a pasos agigantados, !felicidades!

Esto, unido a una foto promocional de otro artista, Andrés Gallardo en la que Lana del Rey luce una de sus creaciones, me inspiraron a "garabatear" ésta que os presento, que sin querer representar a Lana, es inevitable que se pareciese... ¿O es Leighton Meester?

Days ago, I attended Sánchez Murube debut in "We Love Flamenco" runway. A flamenco fashion show in Seville.

I met Diego years ago, and his art evolves quickly in the best way, congratulations!

Combining his show and art with Andrés Gallardo´s art, as you can see in the promotional picture where Lana del Rey wears one of his pieces, inspired me to doodle this. I didn´t want to represent Lana but it´s unavoidable to see the resemblance...Or is it Leighton Meester?

Si habéis leído alguna vez mi blog o habéis visto y/o seguido mis ilustraciones, sabréis que soy un apasionado del movimiento "Big Eyes" . 

Ahora Tim Burton nos trae "Big Eyes", la historia no sobre el movimiento artístico , sino el drama que hay detrás, la historia de Margaret Keane y cómo, en la sombra, convirtió este estilo artístico en consumo y culto de masas durante los 50, 60 y 70.

Y como no, la incombustible y polémica Lana del Rey, a la que convertí en una Big Eyes, tiempo atrás, pone voz a la banda sonora con "Big Eyes" y "I can fly"

If you have read my blog or/and follow my illustrations, you know I love the `Big Eyes´ style.

Tim Burton brigs us now `Big Eyes´, not the story of this artistic style, but Margaret Keane´s drama behind the mass-selling phenomenon during the 50s, 60s and 70s.

Lana del Rey, (I already transformed her in a Big Eyes, back in 2012) lends her voice to the soundtrack in `Big Eyes´ and `I can fly´
